I'm Merina Fatherree and have been living in the PNW most of my life! I went to school at The Evergreen State college, and while getting my bachelors discovered a passion for event running. Now I volunteer for local conventions and work with Conference Resources at the Tacoma Community College!

My name is Nate Hackett, I was born and raised in Tacoma Washington, and I study music at TCC. I love to play the Bass Guitar and nerd out about music/audio stuff. I hope the work that I do at Conference Resources will reflect my goals, values, and beliefs, and I’m really excited to see what the future has in store for me.

Campus Policies for Visitors and Events

To ensure a safe, welcoming, and compliant environment for our campus community and guests, all events must follow Tacoma Community College’s established campus policies. External clients and event organizers are responsible for reviewing the following guidelines prior to their event. These guidelines help ensure that every gathering aligns with campus standards for safety, accessibility, and community well-being.

  • Acceptable Use: Client agrees to the Information Systems and Services terms of use to comply with applicable state, federal and local laws, WAC code, and College policies and procedures.
  • Alcohol & Other Drugs: Client agrees to the terms listed in the Alcohol & Other Drugs Policy. TCC remains a smoke and drug-free campus.
  • Animals on Campus: Client agrees to ensure all animals are attended, leashed, or properly restrained while on college premises and under the direct physical control of their owner/handler. Client agrees to dispose of all pet waste properly.
  • Parking: Client recognizes and agrees to TCC’s parking & traffic regulation policies.
  • Weapons: Client agrees to terms in the Weapon’s Policy. Client agrees to ensure TCC remains a weapon-free campus.
Our Conference Resources team is available to answer questions about how these policies may affect your event planning.
