Paralegal Program Admission Process
- Apply to the college.
If you have questions about the enrollment process, contact Advising in Bldg. 7 at 253-566-6091.
- Complete your prerequisite assessment. (Required for AAS Degree Students Only.)
Assessment at college-level English and reading is required for all Paralegal courses. For the Associate of Applied Science degree, students are required to take the Accuplacer. For the Pro-Certificate, students are required to submit a transcript to Enrollment Services. Please note Limited License Legal Technician (LLLT): No longer admitting new students as of June 2020.
- Meet with the Paralegal Program Chair, Jennifer Sorensen
Once you have completed your assessment, contact Jennifer Sorensen for advising into the Paralegal program. Do this the quarter BEFORE you expect to start courses.
- Register for classes.
The general advisor or paralegal program advisor will help you map out the courses needed to complete the program. The Paralegal program runs on a space-available basis. Each course has a limited number of seats.
