Free Microsoft Office Certification Testing Available to TCC Students
Students who want to validate their Microsoft Office skills to test out of a class or boost their resumes can now sign up for free MOS testing. The tests normally cost $125, but thanks to funding from the Office of Student Engagement (OSE), TCC has a one-year license (January 2026 - January 2027) to administer up to 500 tests free to students.
Two types of testing are available:
- Microsoft Office Specialist–Microsoft 365 Apps
- Microsoft Office Specialist–Microsoft Office 2019
Students use the certification to:
- Test out of Word/Excel to earn credit for CU 102, CU 103, CU 105 or CU 203 at TCC.
- Stand out from other job candidates.
- Achieve globally recognized skills certification.
- Assure employers of qualifications.
- Boost resumes and advance careers.
