Earth Week Events at TCC

Monday, April 21: TCC Wetland Restoration
3 p.m., Building 15
Earth Week at TCC starts Monday with restoration work at TCC's on-campus wetland area. If you'd like to join, meet in front of Building 15 at 3 p.m. and go over to the site with the work crew. Gloves and gardening tools will be provided; bring water and wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty.
Tuesday, April 22: Salmon Release
3:30 p.m., Puget Creek Alder Way Entrance
The salmon release at Puget Creek, a perennial family favorite, is happening Tuesday. Bring the kids, wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy, and meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Alder Way entrance to Puget Creek (the entrance off of Ruston Way.) Release a baby coho into the creek and learn about the salmon's journey from the creek to the sea and back.
Wednesday, April 23: Documentary & Discussion
2 p.m., Building 16
Watch the documentary film “Common Ground” and take part in the post-film discussion. Event will be held in 16-106.
Thursday, April 24: Sustainability Garden Work Party
2 - 4 p.m., Sustainability Garden
Help get the TCC Sustainability Garden ready for spring planting! Located across Parking Lot K from the Building 20 Gym, the Sustainability Garden helps supply produce to the Titan Food Pantry.
