Office of Community Standards
A student-centered approach to accountability and care.
The Office of Community Standards is here to help TCC students succeed, both inside and outside the classroom. Our student-centered approach to accountability and care means we work with students to help them learn, grow, and overcome challenges, while supporting a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus community.
Our office provides support in two main ways:
- Code of Conduct: Guiding accountability and helping students learn from their choices.
- CARE Team: Offering personalized support and resources when you’re facing academic, personal, or other challenges.
Whether you’re looking for help, needing guidance, or just want to know your options, we’re here to support you, your success, and the wider TCC community.

Why Report
Reporting builds a culture of care. Our goal is to help students find success by using our processes to create a plan. Interventions are not meant to be punitive. Here are some things to know.
How to Report Allegations of Misconduct
Please use the buttons above to file a report. Upload any evidence you have (such as class syllabus, assignments in question, notes written, screenshots of concerning messages etc.) with your report. Faculty: Please follow the Administrative Procedure for Academic Dishonesty first.
What Happens After a Report is Filed
Students: once a report is submitted to our office, you will receive a letter inviting you to a meeting to discuss the matter, and to share your side of the story. This letter will be sent to you via email – so please make sure you open emails from Office of Community Standards. You will receive a link that you use to verify your identity and open the letter.
Faculty/Staff: It may take up to 45 days for a matter to be resolved. Once there is an outcome, you will receive an email from our office with information. Please know that students have the right to appeal a decision, and the code provides 21 days from the day they receive the outcome notice to do so.
