I’m proud to serve as the Director of Access Services at Tacoma Community College, where I have the privilege of supporting students with disabilities and working to create a more inclusive and accessible campus environment.
My journey in this field is rooted in a strong commitment to equity and student advocacy. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Evergreen State College and joined the TCC community in 2019, a place where I’ve found both purpose and connection.
I live in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood with my husband of 24 years. We have four amazing adult children and half a dozen incredible grandchildren who bring so much joy and meaning to my life. I cherish breaking bread with friends and family, gazing at the full moon, capturing precious moments through picture taking, and embracing the energy of live music & sporting events.
These simple pleasures bring me joy and keep me grounded, reminding me daily of the importance of community, connection, and compassion.
