Academic Honors
TCC students who have achieved outstanding grades are honored upon graduation with academic honors are designated on their diplomas and noted on official transcripts.

Degree Grade Point Average
Degree grade point average is calculated with credits used to fulfill degree requirements, which can include credits earned at TCC and other institutions. Honors on your transcript and diploma are based on all Tacoma Community College coursework being applied to the degree or certificate.
The degree application deadline for each term is listed in the Academic Calendar.
Commencement Honors
Honors at commencement is based on your degree GPA at the end of Winter quarter. Students with honors are noted within the commencement program. To ensure names and honor status is correct on the commencement program a student must meet the priority graduation application deadline listed on the important dates calendar. Review your Academic Progress Report in ctclink to view your Degree GPA, ensure you select "Refresh" for the latest report. (Listed towards the end of the Academic Progress Report). Dean's List
Dean's List is awarded on a quarterly basis to students who earn a quarterly grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher. A notation of this achievement will be placed on the student’s official transcript. This quarterly honor is not part of commencement. Questions regarding Dean's List email registrar@tacomacc.edu.
