Former Trustee and Student Advocate Dave Edwards Passes

TCC is saddened to share with our community that former TCC trustee Dave Edwards passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Feb 11, 2020.

He is grieved by his wife, Pat Shuman, who serves on TCC’s Board of Trustees, by their children and extended family, and by the larger community touched by Dave’s life of service. Dave loved his community, which was demonstrated by his work and commitment with many organizations as a volunteer on non-profit boards and committees.

Dave served as a trustee of the college from 2000-2009. He co-chaired TCC’s successful capital campaign launched in 2005, and Dave and Pat were awarded Honorary Degrees from TCC in 2010. Dave was fervently committed to TCC and the success of our students.
