Workforce Education Funding

 

What is Workforce Education?

Workforce Education provides funding and support for students enrolled in:

  • Professional technical training - more than 40 degrees and certificates available
  • Job skills training needed for finding a job (e.g. computer classes)
  • Pre-college skills (high school diploma, HS+, GED, basic skills or ESL) to prepare for a degree or certificate
Who qualifies?

**Each Workforce Education grant program has different criteria and requirements. Funding may include help with tuition, books, and fees.

 

TAKE THE SURVEY TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY, IT TAKES ONLY ONE APPLICATION TO GET CONNECTED WITH THE PROGRAMS THAT ARE BEST FOR YOU.

Two Steps To Get You Started

Step One: Are You Eligible? Take the eligibility survey to find out. If you qualify, you will be invited to attend a funding workshop at Tacoma Community College that will help guide you to the appropriate programs. Take a Short Survey >
Step Two: Funding Workshop

After you take the eligibility survey you will be prompted to participate in an on-line orientation where you will find out more about Workforce programs and be able to apply for funding and services.

TCC Workforce Education is currently closed to the public.

However, we are now utilizing some inventive online services to serve out students during this time. Zoom can be used with your phone, computer, or tablet device. Zoom allows you to use instant messaging, voice chat, or even video conferencing to speak with us in real time.
