Workforce Education Funding
What is Workforce Education?
Workforce Education provides funding and support for students enrolled in:
- Professional technical training - more than 40 degrees and certificates available
- Job skills training needed for finding a job (e.g. computer classes)
- Pre-college skills (high school diploma, HS+, GED, basic skills or ESL) to prepare for a degree or certificate
Who qualifies?
- People receiving, or have received, unemployment (apply for unemployment benefits here)
- Low income
- Receiving Basic Food or TANF assistance
- Needing to upgrade skills
**Each Workforce Education grant program has different criteria and requirements. Funding may include help with tuition, books, and fees.

Step One: Are You Eligible? | Take the eligibility survey to find out. If you qualify, you will be invited to attend a funding workshop at Tacoma Community College that will help guide you to the appropriate programs. Take a Short Survey > |

After you take the eligibility survey you will be prompted to participate in an on-line orientation where you will find out more about Workforce programs and be able to apply for funding and services. |

TCC Workforce Education is currently closed to the public.
