About

TCC's Communication Studies program provides a clear foundation in the concepts, theories, terminology, and current issues shaping the field. Students develop practical skills in oral, written, visual, and digital communication, working in individual, group, and public contexts. Coursework addresses intercultural exchange, media literacy, and the role of communication in shaping relationships, organizations, and communities. Students also analyze how power, privilege, and systemic barriers affect communication in different settings, preparing them to apply these skills across diverse careers and civic life.
