 Elementary Education Specialization Requirements (30 credits)

Check with an advisor at your desired transfer institution regarding foreign language requirements. World language credit can be applied toward humanities, multicultural and general elective requirements of the Associate of Arts Degree.

Distribution Requirements (60 Credits) 

EDUC 220, PSYC& 200, or ENGL 262 fulfill the Multicultural degree requirement.

  Fulfill the Associate of Arts (DTA) Humanities Distribution requirement. ART 180, ENGL 262, and MUSC 120 may be applied to this requirement. One course is required for the Elementary Education Specialization. All are recommended.  15
  Social Sciences  
  EDUC& 205, EDUC 220, and PSYC& 200 are all required for the Elementary Education Specialization and may be used to fulfill the Social Sciences Distribution Requirement/ 15
  Natural Sciences  
  Fulfill the Associate of Arts (DTA) Natural Sciences Distribution Requirement. Math& 132 may be applied toward this requirement.  15
  Physical Education Activity  
  Complete three credits of Physical Education activity.  3
  Distribution Electives  
  Fulfill the Associate of Arts (DTA) Distribution Electives requirement. PSYC& 100 and CMST& 220 are recommended.  12
