Welcome to the TCC Government Relations Page
Hello! Thanks for visiting our website.
We work to build partnerships with our federal, state, county and city elected officials to support our mission to “create meaningful learning, advance equity, and strengthen student and community success.”
Thank you for your support!
In the 2023 session, the Legislature approved the funding for our Center of Innovative Learning and Engagement, which opened in the Spring of 2025 for our students. The Legislature also supported our request in the 2025 session to preserve the $28.6 million that was allocated to our college system in the 23-25 budget. Maintaining this funding was critical for continued operations and stability to serve students. We also continue our work regarding SB 5194 that supports TCC with becoming an anti-racist institution.

2025 has been a landmark year at TCC - thank you!
TCC celebrated 60 years of serving as the community's college. It was a year of many achievements, including the opening of the new Center for Innovative Learning and Engagement, and a fundraising gala that raised nearly $500,000 in student support. Thank you for your continous support of TCC and the 520,000 students we have served since 1965.
