Admission Process

Steps for Applying

  1. Complete the HIT virtual information session.
The 2017-18 Virtual Information Session will guide you through a series of pages designed to explain what the HIT program at TCC entails, the HIT profession, as well as steps for getting started.
  2. Apply to the college and finish prerequisite courses.
If you have questions about the enrollment process and completing the prerequisite courses, contact Advising in Bldg. 7 (253.566.6091).
  3. Now you are ready to meet with the HIT program chair.
Once you have completed the virtual information session and all adult basic education and HIT prerequisite courses, contact Jonathan Eastabrooks for advising into the HIT program. Do this the quarter before you expect to start courses.
  4. Register for classes.
The HIT program advisor will help you map out the courses needed to complete the program. The HIT program runs on a space-available basis. Each course has a limited number of seats.
