Summer Quarter Tuition

Tuition payments for summer quarter financial aid recipients will be made starting June 13.  Your classes will not be dropped if you have an active summer quarter award.

Summer Quarter Checks

We expect to mail summer quarter financial aid checks on June 18 if you meet the following conditions:

  • You are registered full-time (12 or more credits) by June 17 or
  • You submit a credit load change form to the Financial Aid Office stating you are registered for less than full-time no later than June 13.

Please note - being on a waiting list does not mean you are registered for that class.

  • There are funds remaining after your tuition and fees are paid.
  • Any fines (parking, library, outstanding tuition from a previous quarter, etc.) have been paid.
  • You were not placed on financial aid suspension or academic suspension because of spring quarter grades or you do not have a previous unresolved suspension.

Loan checks may take longer.   Some loans may not be available until approximately July 7.

Also see:  student loans and be sure you have completed the necessary steps and are aware of all requirements.

YOU MUST ATTEND ALL CLASSES THAT YOUR FINANCIAL AID IS BASED ON.

THERE ARE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND.

Be sure your correct mailing address is on file.  This can be verified through:

“my e-services”.

Students who don’t meet the conditions listed above must pick up checks in person, once the quarter begins.  Checks will be released starting June 23 in Building 11. There are no exceptions.

If you register late you may not have a financial aid check ready at the start of the quarter.

No check will print if you have a fine or debt on your record, if you're on suspension, if there are no funds remaining after financial aid is applied to your tuition, or if you are registered for less than 12 credits and have not submitted a credit load change form to the Financial Aid office.

WAYS TO PAY NIGHT

Thank you for viewing the materials from ‘Ways to Pay Night 2008’

‘Ways to Pay Night’ took place on the Tacoma Community College (TCC) campus in early March, and was attended by a large group of prospective and current TCC students.  Students and faculty both expressed strong interest in creating the ability to access the information relayed after the event, especially for the benefit of online courses and those unable to attend the event or certain workshops in person.

For those reasons, we have gathered together all handouts and materials from the four workshops offered at Ways to Pay Night (listed below).  In addition, two workshop sessions (also listed below) were filmed and converted to podcasts, for students’ viewing pleasure.
