Counseling

Professionally trained counselors are available to work with you in an atmosphere of mutual trust and confidentiality. Counselors can help in dealing with personal difficulties, career decision making, and educational planning. We are prepared to refer students to a variety of excellent services in the community when extensive services are indicated. All services, with the exception of vocational testing, are offered on a no-fee basis to all enrolled or prospective students. You may make an appointment by phone or by dropping by the Counseling Center in Building 7. If you are currently enrolled in a Professional/Technical program you may also contact Peggy Sargeant, counselor, in Building 19, 253.566.5216.

CONSIDER USING THE TCC COUNSELING PROGRAM IF:

• You have personal concerns which are hindering academic success. 
• You are tense, anxious or depressed; you are afraid of doing poorly in college. 
• You need help deciding on a career field.  
• You want to find out whether you can accomplish your educational or occupational goals. 
• You don't enjoy what you are studying. 
• You are experiencing the separation of family, friends or loved ones. 

Come see us in the Counseling Center! You may make an appointment by phone or just drop in to arrange a time.

TUESDAY: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

FRIDAY*: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
*9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on the first Friday of each month
