The TCC Student Computer Lab is located in the Information Technology Building, Building 28, at the end of the first floor in the Information Commons.
The Information Commons is open while classes are in session. Limited open hours are available between quarters for students to access grades and online registration. Between Quarter Hours may vary from day to day. Please call before coming to the Information Commons.
Students are welcome to use the Computer Lab on a walk in basis. In consideration of the needs of other students, please limit your use of the lab resources to college related work.
Students will need media for storing personal files. USB flash drives are preferred, as our systems do not have floppy disk drives.
A USB Flash Drive is a small, portable, and convenient way to store large files.
Students should save their work every 5-10 minutes. Information typed since the last save is lost when the computer or network goes down. If you need help saving a document, ask for assistance.
Afternoons and Saturdays are usually less crowded.
Network printing is available from all students computers and wireless connections. Select the printing link for information or the staff in the Information Commons will be able to answer questions and help students to become familiar with printing accounts and printing procedures.
