Our favorite citation web site is Research and Documentation Online from Diana Hacker. Choose from MLA (Humanities), APA (Social Sciences), Chicago or CBE style. Hacker provides examples and explanations of citations both in text and in reference lists. She also presents overall paper format. Check with your instructor to determine the style he or she requires. Generally, at TCC, the Humanities use MLA, the Sciences and Social Sciences use APA.
