Welcome to the International Student Organization (ISO)!

This is a great chance for you to learn more about different cultures and have fun with students from many countries. We always do our best to make you feel comfortable when studying at TCC and enjoying your life in the US. With a variety of activities for all international students, we try to help you relax and make more friends after studying hard. Do not be shy -- do not hesitate to join us! Let’s come together and share our best with everyone!

In fact, it is one of the reasons you should attend the ISO activities — joining other students at the events and sharing your experiences with them will help you understand and appreciate the many cultural groups represented at TCC.

Why do we need to know more about different cultures? It helps us develop wide interpersonal relationship networks. It is one of the reasons people want to study in the US.

Come here and break down barriers by making friends from other countries. Learning from them and share your culture with them. You just need to join ISO activities. Many students study abroad because they want to jump out from their small worlds to experience and learn new things that otherwise cannot be attained. This is your chance!

The ISO was created to promote greater understanding and cooperation among the many different cultural groups represented at Tacoma Community College. The ISO provides opportunities for students to meet people from all over the world through the trips and activities it sponsors.
