International Student Services Staff

The International Student Services and Programs Office is located in Building 11 on the 2nd floor. You are always welcome to come visit us with questions about academics, housing, immigration/visa status, or just to say hi. We will do our best to help you any way we can.

You can call 253.566.5190 or email international@tacomacc.edu to schedule an appointment with any of our staff members, or just stop by and see us!

Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summer Quarter (July and August):
Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Dave is very busy, but he is usually somewhere around the office. In addition to managing Student Life and the International office, Dave is always looking for new ways to improve the experience of TCC's international students.

Reuth is the immigration specialist, she will assist you with your visa status, transferring in or out of TCC, and general international concerns. She always has a friendly smile and a bowl of candy on her desk!

International Student Retention Specialist/ISO Club Advisor
Ann spends her days planning awesome activities for TCC's international students, like Orientation and ISO trips. She is the academic advisor for international students, and will help you with questions about classes, degrees, and transfer programs.

Recruiting Specialist/Study Abroad Advisor
When he is not traveling the world recruiting new international students, Clay can be found in the ISSP office fielding questions from educational agencies abroad. Current students are welcome to stop by and tell him how they like TCC.

Admissions Specialist/Marketing Assistant
Sandra processes all incoming applications and issues I-20 forms. She is an expert at helping students with paperwork issues,consulate concerns, agency contacts, and she has an extentive knowledge of the degree programs at TCC.

Coordinator of International Short-Term Programs and Housing
Annemarie works with students, host families and local apartment complexes to make sure the housing process goes smoothly for all our students. She is the person to see if you have questions or concerns about where you live while studying at TCC. Annemarie used to be an international student herself and is excited to be here!

Student Life Staff

 International Student Services and Programs shares an office with Student Life in the upper level of Building 11 (the Opgaard Student Center), so you may see Ana and Christyanna around the office. They will be happy to help you in any way they can.

Ana's duties include managing the team of student leaders who put together a wide variety of fun activities for the whole campus, and coordinating the Associated Students of TCC (ASTCC) government.
