Annual Fund

The Annual Fund raises current funds to help enhance the college’s programs. As a public institution, TCC relies primarily on funding from the state, tuition, grants, contracts and other local revenue sources.

In 2003-2004, the state of Washington provided only 57 percent of TCC’s operating budget revenue (Source: TCC Operating Budget Revenue Summary)

The college depends on the generosity of alumni, friends, parents, students, businesses and foundations to help provide the additional funding needed to offer continued access to higher education and high-quality educational programs.  

Gifts to the TCC Foundation’s Annual Fund are used to support a variety of activities, including but not limited to:

• Unrestricted/Areas of greatest needs
• Scholarships and grants
• Library and learning resources
• International programs
• Employee professional development and awards
• The TCC Children’s Center
• Academic and student programs
• Athletic activities
• Arts programs
• Literacy and developmental education
