Computer Cleanup

Hello TCC,

  We have seen a large number of computers brought in to the Information Technology department for service by new employees (or folks that have assumed new positions and changed computers).  Many of these computers were used by their predecessors and not brought back to be cleaned up and readied for the new employee to use.  Sometimes data has to be retained, or an employee will need an unusual software title.  We can certainly work with you in those instances as long as we are made aware of the requirements before we configure the computer.

  It is a good idea to enter a support ticket so we can arrange to “freshen up” a computer before it is sent out for use by another employee.

  Please notify the Information Technology department of changes in computer assignment or location so that we can update our records.
