Application Tips

Applying for more than one position?

  • Keep a copy for your records

  • Prepare for each position and be sure to have an original signature on each copy.

Did you remember to?

  • Sign and date each page where requested?

  • Include a copy of your license or certificate where required?

  • Attach all requested documents?

Administrative, Faculty and Professional Applicants include

  • Application form

  • Resume and cover letter

  • Unofficial transcripts, copies are sufficient.  Official transcripts will be required of the successful candidate.

  • Cultural statement

Adjunct Faculty and Hourly Applicants

  • Application form

  • Resume and cover letter

Classified (staff) Applicants

  • Application form

  • Resume

  • Cover letter

  • Statement addressing specific qualifications

General

  • Return or postmark your materials prior to the guaranteed consideration date/closing date.

  • Regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

  • Location:  6501 S 19th Street, Tacoma, WA

  • If you are applying for a full-time position, please check the "Application Materials" section for all materials needed.  All positions require materials in addition to the application form.

  • All documents submitted as a part of your application package become the property of the college and will not be returned.

  • The college is unable to provide copies if applying for more than one position.

  • Please submit a complete and separate package for each position for which you would like to receive consideration.
