TCC’s New Student Orientation (NSO) gives you the information to quickly plug into the TCC campus community and to important student resources.  Participation in an orientation is mandatory for all new first-time in college students and is recommended for transfer and returning students who have been away from school for more than two years.

Academic advisors will be available for individual assistance during the campus (in-person) NSO.  At the orientation you will:

• Be assigned to a program and academic advisor
• Learn how to register for your classes
• Learn how to access your TCC Portal account
• And much more…

New Student Orientation for Online Learners
If you are a transfer or returning TCC student, or a online learner, you may find the online orientation more convenient than the campus orientation.  Be sure to complete the entire online orientation including the online form at the end of the orientation. The form is used to assign you to a program and advisor.  Failure to complete the form so may delay your registration for the following quarter!
