New Student Advising Orientation

About

TCC's New Student Advising Orientation (NSAO) group session for new and readmitting students lets you connect with other students as we demonstrate our online registration feature and discuss what it takes to get started at TCC.

Who should attend a NSAO?

Please plan for at least two hours that day to complete the orientation.

New Students

All new students (except those who have earned a college degree or attended another college for more than one year) must attend a New Student Orientation and Assessment session. Reserve your seat by signing up online at new student orientation or call 253-566-6091.

NOTE: Running Start and Fresh Start students have their own orientations. If you are in either of these programs, please contact them to find out about their orientation times: Running Start (253-566-6061), Fresh Start (253-566-5086).

If all orientations are FULL, please check back at a later date. We will be posting regularly and as needed.

Returning Students
Returning students who have not attended TCC for one year or longer, are advised to attend an on-campus orientation or complete the online orientation if an on-campus session does not work for you. Go to new student orientation or call 253-566-6091.

Transfer-in and Distance-Learning Students: Online Orientation
Students planning to enroll in online courses only, or those who have earned a college degree or attended another college for more than one year, may complete the Online Orientation. Online Orientation is also open to returning TCC students who have been gone for less than one year. After you complete Online Orientation, email the advisor for online advising and registration information. Or, feel free to stop by the Counseling and Advising Center, Bldg. 7.

Once you have completed Orientation, please fill out the survey and let us know how we did and what we can do better. We appreciate your feedback!
