Educational Philosophy

I believe that students learn best (and most) when they care deeply about the subject matter and when they are in a friendly, nonthreatening environment. I try to make my classrooms places where students feel safe, and where we can enjoy being together to learn. As a result of that outlook, I rely on team projects for a certain percentage of the work in all my courses.
