Interim Head Coach

Born in Southern California, I attended and wrestled at El Camino Junior College in Torrance. Being of Samoan decent, volleyball came naturally as I began playing at an early age. I’ve been playing/coaching (more coaching than playing) volleyball since 1984. I played as a setter in the military from 1990-1997 and began coaching junior sports in 1998. I started coaching club volleyball in 2007, and currently I’m a Co-Director with 253 Elite VBC. As a coach, I’ve sent numerous teams to National Qualifiers, College Showcase Tournaments, AAU National Championships and the Junior Olympic National Championships. I have trained and coached many players who’ve gone on to play at the next level.

Coaching is a passion of mine! The life lessons taught and learned from both coaches and players are priceless. More importantly, the relationships forged are everlasting! I’ve been married to my AMAZING wife, Susan, for almost 24 years and the Lord has blessed us with one angel - our daughter Keilani.

“Don’t be upset with the results you didn’t get with the work you didn’t do.”
