Get on the FAST TRACK by taking courses
to help you prepare for the 2013 GED tests!

The GED test is changing, effective Jan. 1, 2014.
If you haven't finished your current GED tests by Dec. 31, 2013,
your scores will be dropped.

These specially designed courses will help you prepare for the 2013 GED tests:

Review basic skills in math, grammar, reading, social studies and science necessary for the GED
Practice your pre-writing and writing skills
Do several on-demand essays required for the GED and get individualized feedback
Learn proven test-taking strategies that support GED tests
Take predictive GED tests in class and get immediate scores
Meet individually with your instructor to set goals and monitor progress

Course tuition is $25/quarter, plus individual course fees.
Note: Some students may be eligible for tuition assistance.

Practice GED Testing

Can I take a practice GED test to see if I'm ready?

Practice GED testing is offered through the Adult Basic Skills Program. The fee for practice testing is $5 per test. There are 5 tests. Practice testing is free for students currently enrolled and participating in the GED program after tuition and fees are paid. Practice testing is every Monday and Wednesday beginning as early as 9:30 a.m. and ending by 5:30 p.m. There is some flexiblity within the schedule, depending on the number of tests subjects needed.

Where do I take the final test?

Final GED testing is administered in the Testing Center, Bldg. 6, TCC Tacoma campus. For more information about Final GED Testing contact the Testing Center at 253.566.5020.
