The study of sociology explores individual human interactions, the building and maintaining of societies, and global social processes.

Studying sociology at TCC will give you a solid introduction to the concepts, terminology, and current advances in this fascinating field. 

TCC's Sociology Program provides you a direct pathway toward successful transfer into a bachelor program.  As you prepare for transfer to a 4-year university, our sociology faculty and curriculum will help you reach your academic and career goals in sociology and the social sciences.

Begin with an Associate in Arts degree with direct transfer into a Bachelor program in Sociology. 

TCC offers the Associate in Arts (AA)  degree with a Sociology track.  The Associate of Arts degree is a Direct Transfer Agreement/Major Related Program (DTA/MRP) and prepares students to transition successfully into a Bachelor’s degree at Washington State 4-year universities.

Continue your education through direct transfer to Bachelor Programs in Sociology in Washington.

The Associate in Arts program will prepare you for university transfer and continued education. Sociology majors gain valuable skills into human behavior, and enjoy a wide range of career opportunities in corporate, non-profit, and government worlds. Learn more here.

 

DEGREE OPTIONS

Associate in Arts  (Option A) The Associate in Arts degree – Sociology track is a 90 credit hour program that enables you to transfer as a junior to a Bachelor’s program at a Washington state university.
