Scholarships

Scholarships are financial awards based on academic achievement, athletic or artistic talent, financial need, particular fields of study or involvement in the community. They are a source of funding that can help you pay for your education.  Unlike loans, they do not have to be repaid.

Scholarship criteria can be based on academic achievement, athletic or artistic talent, financial need, particular fields of study or involvement in the community.

The scholarship application process is separate from the application for federal and state financial aid.

You can receive scholarships up to the total cost of attendance for the academic year you are enrolled.

Please check with the Donor or scholarship program if unsure about potential use of scholarship funds. In most cases, scholarships are to be used for tuition and fees, books, supplies, and/or equipment (in that order), in rare instances the scholarship can be given to the student in the form of a refund for living expenses.
