Tickets

Each graduate will be awarded a minimum of six tickets. Tickets can be picked up at the May 30 Grad Fair, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Building 11. When you pick up your tickets, you have the option to request additional tickets. If you can’t pick up your tickets at Grad Fair, they’ll be upstairs in Building 11 starting the day after Grad Fair.

Additional tickets can be requested through June 8. A lottery to distribute extra tickets will be held June 11. Students will be notified about their extra tickets by email. We ask that students make every effort to pick them up from the OSE office in Building 11 that day, but if you can’t make it, we can hold your tickets at Will Call.

Will Call tickets should be picked up at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. After that, TCC reserves the right to distribute unclaimed tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.

If there are additional tickets after extra tickets have been distributed via lottery, they will be divided between the ceremonies and distributed on the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis.

Two classrooms in Building 20 will be available for overflow seating, and the ceremony will be live-streamed.

Parking

Free Commencement parking will be available on campus. Signage will be posted, and parking lot attendants will be on hand to assist guests.

Grad Fair

Mark your calendars for Grad Fair – this is the time to pick up your tickets and cap and gown, ask questions and clarify anything you need. Grad Fair is being held from 11am-1pm, May 30, in the Student Center and Bookstore.

Steps to Graduation

Graduation is the completion of degree requirements and submittal of the degree application. Degrees may be completed in Summer, Fall, Winter, or Spring quarters. Once your degree has been granted it will be posted to your TCC transcript.

Commencement is a formal ceremony honoring student degree completion. TCC holds a Commencement ceremony once a year in June.

Applying to Graduate

  • Meet with your academic advisor to review degree requirements and complete the degree application or certificate application.
  • Submit completed application to Enrollment Services, Bldg. 7.
