TMATH 100 Mathematics for the Health Sciences (5)
An intermediate algebra-based course for Health Science students, satisfying the requirements for the nursing, radiology and respiratory therapy programs. Topics will cover graphing and graph analysis, linear, exponential, and logarithmic functions, roots, unit conversions, scientific notation, biostatistics, and applications involving various algebraic concepts applied specifically to the Health Science fields. Prerequisite: MATH 090 with a minimum grade of C- or appropriate math placement and ENGL/ 095 with a minimum grade of C or assessment above ENGL/ 095.
