SCI 100 Physical Science and Technology (5)
(FORMERLY PHYSN-100) Studies underlying physical principles and interactions in topics like motion, energy, light, sound, electricity, etc., and how they are applied and used in technology. A hands-on, team oriented approach is used to develop conceptual reasoning, interrelationships between concept and application, and effective communication skills. Laboratory included.
Prerequisite: ENGL/ 095 with a minimum grade of C and completion of MATH 090 or MATH 093 with a minimum grade of C- or equivalent assessment in these areas.
