DMS 121 Small Parts and Superficial Structures Sonography (3)
Focuses on the sonography of various superficial structures. Reviews the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of these small parts; discussing laboratory tests and lcinical signs and symptoms. Also explores the use of ultrasound in surgical procedures. Routine scanning protocols are learned and discussed. To be taken concurrently with DMS-102.
Prerequisite: Acceptance into DMS program or Program Director approval.
