Volunteer opportunities

"The aim of education must be the training of independently acting and thinking individuals who can see service to the community as their highest life achievement."
~ Albert Einstein

Passionate about service to your community? TCC is committed to both our students and our community -- we'll help you find ways to have the college and life experiences you want to have.

Check back soon for information on the next Volunteer Fair.

Service Learning

Service-learning courses combine hands-on, volunteer service work in your community with your credited academic courses. Depending on your service assignment and credits, you'll complete 8 to 60 hours of service per quarter. Through assignments and class discussion, you'll reflect on your service, relate it to course theories, and discover how the course relates to your personal life and your professional and education goals.

Students in Service (AmeriCorps)

Join the AmeriCorps program designed specifically for college students to earn an education award. Appropriate service activities may include but are not limited to: tutoring or mentoring in schools or preschool programs, participating in service-learning courses or certain internship/practicum programs, working with environmental projects or at community service agencies.
