TCC MEN'S SOCCER OFF TO 3-0 START IN LEAGUE

The Titans Men's soccer team is off to its best start in league in over a decade. After a up and down preseason the Titans have found there stride early in the 2013 season. The Titans went 1-3 during the preseason. Coach Vargas and coach Gjertsen were still very optimistic on how this group would do. "Even though those weren't the results we necessarily wanted, we never really had everyone healthy and playing in a game together. Also we have been trying to find where to play guys in our system. That's what preseason if for to find these things out before league starts," said Gjersten. Now the Titans have won 3 straight league games and are 3-0 in league and have only conceded one goal in those three games. "This is the deepest and most talented team we have had since I've been here," said Gjersten. Next up for the Titans is a league math up with defending NWAACC champios Peninsula College. Peninsula has also won the west region the last two years and is also 3-0 in league and tied for 1st with the Titans. "This is game we have been waiting for, you get the defending champs at home and both teams are unbeaten in league. The winner of this game will have a early edge on winning the west region," said Gjersten. The game is at 4:15 pm @ TCC on 9-25-13
