Women's Soccer start

After a slow start in league women's soccer have gotten a couple good results.

TCC women's soccer didn't quite get off to the start they wanted to in league play this year. After starting the season 2-4 in league, the Titans have one win ad one tie in there last two games. Their win on October 5th against Chemeketa CC resulted in a 7-2 game. Laura Deaton had a big impact on the game, with four goals and two assists. Shayli Housman also had a goal, along with Toria Southworth and Quinn Bovee-Naini. Rachel Kimmerly added two assists. "We are really starting to play more consistent as a team and are continuing to get better each game," said Coach Gjertsen.

Next the Titans faced the number two team in the west region Highline CC, the result of the match was a 0-0 draw. Hailey Bell recorded the shutout for the Titans.

The next match for the Titans is at home vs. Lower Columbia CC on Oct.12th at noon.
