The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Lady Titans Clinch 2nd Straight NWAACC Tourney berth with 71-38 win over Green River

The TCC Women's Basketball team clinched their 2nd straight NWAACC Tournament berth on Saturday night with their 71-38 win over Green River. The berth marks the first time in school history that the Lady Titans have went to back to back NWAACC Tournaments.

The Lady Titans ( 9-7) (12-13) took a 31-20 lead into the half before leading by as many as 37 points in the 2nd half. The Lady Titans forced the Gators into 37 turnovers & had a school record 26 steals. Sherelle Williams led the Ladies with 19 points & 10 rebounds, While Angie Wager-Sanchez added 12 points & 8 steals.

The Ladies finished in a tie for 4th place with Highline but, because of a season sweep the Lady Titans get the tournament berth. It is the 2nd tournament berth in Head Coach Heidi Collier's 3 seasons.

The Lady Titans uoen the NWAACC Tournament on Saturday March 3rd vs the #1 Ranked Columbia Basin Hawks at 2:00pm.
