The Titan Women's Basketball Team held on to their NWAACC tournament spot this year, ending the season with a Western Region record of 9-7 and an overall record of 11-13. The team enters the tournament as number four seed, facing Clackamas Community College at 8 p.m. March 5 in Kennewick.

When the Women's Basketball All Region awards were released today, freshman guard Oriana Pitts (#5) and sophomore guard Sarah Quantz (#23) were both named to the second-team All-NWAACC Western Region.

"At the beginning of the season we talked a lot as a team about laying a foundation for the women's program at TCC," says Women's Head Coach Heidi Collier. Over the course of the season they have learned how to play with each other, for each other, win together and be a family. I'm proud to be the coach of this team."
