The Penguins of Clark College were able to use their greater height to overcome the Titans hard hitting defense and gain the win 70-79.

The Lady Titans threw everything they had at the Penguins, including some very effective full court pressure which caused turnovers for Clark and gave TCC more chances at the basket. The problem was the Titans shooting percentage was just too low at 34% to beat the Penguins who shot 54% from the field.

TCC was led by Claire Swayze who had 22 points. Oriana Pitts had 21 points as well. The Penguins were led by Deborah Simmers who had 31 points and 14 rebounds.

TCC has finished their regular season due to a forfeit win this Saturday night against South Puget Sound. The Lady Titans still have a good chance at going to the NWAACC Tournament if we can come in above Pierce College who still has to play Clark at home. The Titans are 8-7 in league and 10-13 overall.
