The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

The Lady Titans defeated the Raiders in front of an enthusiastic crowd Monday night at the TCC Gym.

Freshman Oriana Pitts was unstopable as she drove to the hoop beating 2 and 3 people for the bucket. She ended the night with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Sarah Quantz had 10 points and Claire Swayze had 10 rebounds. The Lady Raiders were led by Haley Hancock who had 18 points.

The Lady Titans are 6-5 in league and 8-11 overall. They are currently in 4th place in the Western Division and making a run for a spot at the NWAACC Championship Tournament. They have a bye Wednesday and travel to Grays Harbor on Saturday February 12th, game time 5:00 p.m.
