The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Women's Basketball Defeats Green River

The TCC Women's Basketball team defeated the Green River Gators 64-51 Saturday night.

The Titans were led by Freshman Claire Swayze who had 21 points, and Freshman Oriana Pitts who had 16 points and 9 rebounds. Sophomore Sara Quantz rounded out the scoring with 13. The Titans were leading the Gators by 8 at the half and never looked back to capture the win. Green River was led by Cecilly Phillips who had 19 points.

The Titans are 5-5 in league and 7-11 overall. They play Pierce College tonight at home at 6:00 p.m.
