The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Lady Titans Lose to First Place Lower Columbia 73-84

The Titans traveled to Longview to take on the first place Red Devils Wednesday night.

Despite the 18 points each put on the board by Sara Quantz and Oriana Pitts, the Titans could not overcome the 9-0 Red Devils for a win. The final score was 73-84. Lower Columbia was led by Eva Everett with 20 points.

The Titans are now 4-5 in league play, 6-11 overall. They play at home on Saturday vs. Green River at 3:00 p.m.
