The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Women's Basketball Loses to Clark

Even though they were tied 33-33 at the end of the first half, the Lady Titans could not hold on to defeat Clark College. The final score was 62-73.

Sophomore Kalasa Taumaletia put up some impressive numbers last night; she had 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 steals. Freshman Sarah Quantz added 20 points.

TCC (5-10, 10-14) takes on South Puget Sound Community College this Saturday, February 27th at 3:00 pm for their last game of the season. The Sophomores, Tara Cook, Kalasa Taumaletia, Amanda Sok, Jordawn Emmett, & Malesara Taulaki will be honored prior to the game.
