What an amazing game the TCC's women's basketball team played against the Grays Harbor Chokers this past Saturday! The Lady Titans won with a score of 58-34.

Tacoma's Sarah Quantz scored an outstanding 17 points along with Malesara Taulaki at 12 and Jordawn Emmett with 8 points. The Tacoma team helped the Titan drive by either putting up points, or getting the rebound.

From the beginning of the game, it looked like an easy win. The first score of the game was a three pointer from TCC's Quantz. By the end of the first half the, Tacoma was up 28-9. In the second half, the Titans played just as hard, and had the determination to win. Quantz made an amazing layup as she was falling to the floor. Following the layup, she scored another point from the free throw line. This kept Tacoma in the lead with a score of 48-25 with 7 minutes left on the clock.

Overall, both teams had their share of fouls but that's expected in a game played hard. The Lady Titans managed to pull together and bring in the win.

The next game for Tacoma's women's basketball team is at home against Centralia on Wednesday, February 17th at 6:00 p.m.
