The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

The Lady Titans defeated the Green River Gators on their home floor 57-53 Wednesday night.

TCC led by 10 at the half and stayed on top to win by 4. Balanced scoring definately helped the Titans. Every player on the team scored points and this team effort put a win on the board. The bench contributed 22 points. Elaina Trammell led the Titans with 12 points and 8 rebounds, and Kalasa Taumaletia had 9 points, 15 rebounds and 6 steals.

The Titan defense forced 23 Gator turnovers, and TCC out-rebounded Green River 48 to 30.

TCC travels across town to take on the Pierce College Raiders on Saturday, February 6th at 7:00 p.m.
