The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Lady Titans Lose to Lower Columbia by 1

The Lady Titans, led by Freshman Sarah Quantz's 21 points, lost a heartbreaker on Saturday to Lower Columbia 68-69.

The Titans stepped up their shooting percentage and were ahead of the Red Devils by 5 points at the half. Unfortunately, Lower Columbia came back in the second half to outscore the Titans by 6 points to win the game. Sophomore Elaina Trammell had 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Kalasa Taumaletia added 16 points and 13 rebounds to the Titan drive.

TCC is 3-6 in league and 8-10 overall. They travel to Green River on Wednesday, February 3rd. Game time 6:00 p.m.
