The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Lady Titans could not sink the Clippers

Despite being within 2 points of the South Puget Sound Clippers at the half, TCC could not finish the game with a win. They lost to South Puget Sound 58-65 in Olympia Wednesday night. TCC's Elaina Trammell continues to play strong. She had 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals. Freshman Sarah Quantz added 11 points.

The Titans are 3-5 in league, 8-9 overall. They come home on Saturday afternoon to face 2nd place Lower Columbia College at 3:00 p.m.
