The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Women's Basketball loses to Clark

The Titans hosted the Clark College Penguins Saturday night, and despite some good scoring numbers from the starting 5, as well as the bench, they could not hold on to defeat Clark. The final score was TCC 69, Clark 74.

Sara Quantz led the Titans with 16 points. Elaina Trammell had 15 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman Christina White had a good game coming off the bench to score 14. TCC is 3-4 in League and 8-8 overall.

TCC travels to South Puget Sound this coming Wednesday to play the Clippers. Tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
