The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Titan Women's Basketball drops one to Highline

The Titans took on the Highline Thunderbirds Wednesday night at the TCC Gym. Despite being within 3 points of the T-Birds at the half, TCC couldn't hang on to win the game. The final score was 57-73.

Elaina Trammell led the Titans with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Sara Quantz and Kalasa Taumaletia contributed 15 and 14 points, respectively. Freshman Myra Ortiz had 5 assists.

The Lady Titans are 3-3 in League, 8-7 overall. This Saturday night they take on Clark College at home in the TCC Gym at 3:00 p.m.
