The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

Lady Titans split in weekend games

The women's basketball team traveled to Grays Harbor Saturday night where they defeated the Chokers 60-32. Malesara Taulaki had 17 points, Sara Quantz added 11 to the win.

On Monday, they had a tough time against the top team in the Western Region, Centralia College. Centralia is undefeated in league and they defeated TCC 46-76. Kalasa Taumaletia had 15 points on the night and Sara Quantz had 10.

The Lady Titans take on Highline College at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th in the TCC Gym.
